To update to v7.77y.09 , simply start EzStamp, go to the Help Menu, Click on 
EmailUs/Get Free Updates & select EzUpgrade, & follow on screen instructions 
to install. ( You must be on v7.70 or higher ).

64 Bit Export Routine: Utility to Export your data so that it can be imported by the 64 bit version of Ezstamp which we are anticipating will be ready in the Fall of 2010. Users who are migrating to 64 bit PC's ( ie Vista 64 bit, Windows 7 Professional), will be able to export their current data already entered in the 32 bit version of Ezstamp and import their data into the 64 bit version. The utility will export your data to a folder called ExPort64 under the EzMinkus folder which you will be able to import when you upgrade to the 64 bit edition. This utility will be revised prior to the actual release of the 64 bit version, so it is important that you keep and stay up to date !

Changes in this latest release ( Jul. 21, 2010 )

Duplicated Records: Navigating between duplicated records has been tuned so they are accessed in the order in which they were entered.

Export to 64 bit Utility updated: Modified export routine for upcoming release of 64 bit version of EzStamp. All subsidiary files are now being exported.

Some secondary files were NOT being backed up if the AutoBackup feature was turned on.
On duplicated countries, the user created cross reference file ( if present ) was not being copied correctly.

Some dialog screens were not being closed properly. Now Corrected. Modified Scott sort Algorithms.

Corrected Custom Pic Report. Was not showing images on reports under some conditions

Added 4 new fields to the PNC Data screen ( Purch Prices and a Notes Field )
Added export of AltCat # to the 64 bit export routine. This is for the upcoming version of EzStamp for 64 bit operating systems ( Vista 64, Win 7 64 bit ).

Corrected sorting problem when viewing Thumbnail Viewer by AltCat #.

FDC Cachet Entry Screen: Corrected minor bug. Was allowing entry of FDC varieties without first creating the main variety. Now you must create the variety FIRST, then enter the FDC variety. Also added some messages for long processes.

Changes to the Reports: Qstats, Qstats2 , QStats3, Cross Reference Report & Mint Stamps Report

* * * We have made changes to the Stats3 report so it now calculates the values based on the actual grade that was indicated as well as adding the NH% surcharge if applicable. This is similar to the Detailed Inventory report. Stats, Stats2, Xref Report & Mint Inventory reports now also calculate values with the NH% surcharges, but they base the calculations of the
value based on VF ( instead on value by actual grade ). You may turn off the NH% surcharges at any time by going to Preferences. You can also set the NH% surcharges for each grade if you so desire.

Grand Total Report:      Corrected Mint Qty totals - was not being set properly under some situations.

Canada Plate Number Block Data:    We have compiled a huge database of Canadian PNB data ( over 3200 entries ) and have modified EzStamp to be able to use & report on this data. The PNB data will be part of the 2008 update for Canada and onwards.  We will have the USA PNB data in the future.
StampWants Search:    Added the ability to Search StampWants as well as eBay
Backup:   The AllFiles backup routine ( File, Utilities ) has been revised. Duplicated countries were not backup up properly. This is now corrected & you should perform an AllFiles backup via the File, Utility menu.

1) Second Image: EzStamp now allows 2 images for each stamp in your inventory. Just right
click on the Main image & link your second image. To see it, left click on the main stamp image.

2) ADDING NEW VARIETIES / CHANGING EXISTING Stamp Related Information: This process
has been completely re-vamped. To add a NEW variety, simply enter the new Scott# & click
OK when prompted. You can now add any Stamp Related Information without having to link an image. To link an Image, just click on the Link Icon. You can no also change the Stamp Related Information for records we supplied by just entering the information & clicking on OK.

3) NEW REPORT: We now provide you with a report to show you all records that you have modified ( ie records in our supplied databases that you have changed in some way ) as well as listing ALL new varieties that you entered.

4) PRICING UPDATES: From this version onwards, it is now possible for you to perform our
annual updates & preserve any price changes you made to values we supplied. You also have the option to overwrite all prices if you wish. From this version ONWARDS, it is possible for you
to preserve any price changes you have made during the annual updates. This means that prices you change after installing this update ( v7.71 ), will not be overwritten unless you select to do so. Price changes made BEFORE v7.71 WILL be overwritten if you do the pricing update.
If you are not sure, BACKUP your data FIRST !

5) v7.72p includes 2 very POWERFUL features not found in any other software.
Our EzStamp Quick Viewer which is activated from the Search Menu or via the hotkey Ctrl+F.
Our QuickViewer allows you to view & select any stamp from the spreadsheet view.
This is very quick & easy way to browse through the entire database. You can view
the images right in the spreadsheet ! You can click on any cell & the image will be displayed.
Right click on any cell for sorting options, column deletions & more.
Double click on any cell & that stamp will be brought up in the main
EzStamp window.

6) We have also modified and enhanced all reports that are viewed via the custom
selection option when printing any report. You can sort by any column, hide any column
& reshow all columns. Simply print any report & when the print options appear, select
Custom. Right click on any cell for sorting options, column deletions & more.
Double click on any cell & that stamp will be brought up in the main EzStamp window.

7) A Multi Delete option now is available from the File, Utility Menu. This option will
allow you to delete a range of stamps from your inventory file

Also included in the update is the duplicate record indicator, the ability to
Backup ALL Country Files in Utilities Menu, Purchase Price Column added to Qstats3 plus
the ability to enter Qty & Type when adding to the PWL & PSL.

8) The compressed backup option now also has an option to Backup any images that
you have scanned/added. This option can be set in the preferences Menu.

9) AUTOPROTECT FILES ON OPEN: This feature is on by default. You can turn it OFF via
the Preferences Menu ( not recommended ). This feature will Automatically backup a
country's files once you have successfully opened the file. The files are automatically
saved to a folder called DataBup. This can be invaluable in case of a power failure
or a lightning strike. This will allow you to revert back to the last good copy of
your files if they are damaged. THIS IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR THE COMPRESSED BACKUP
OPTION IN THE FILE MENU !!

10) FDC Details Screen: Added option to retrieve Year & Day of
Issue from supplied data by Double Clicking on Day Issued cell

11) Keyboard Arrow Keys Now Functional: To move forward or
backwards in the supplied database, you can now use the UP or DOWN arrow keys on your
KEYBOARD. This is the same as clicking on the arrow icons beside the Scott # field.
Similarly, the LEFT & RIGHT arrow keys on your KEYBOARD will advance you to the Next or
Previous record in your inventory file. This is the same as clicking on the Next or Previous
buttons on the Main Screen

12) PWL & PSL Visual Cues: Added visual cue so that when items are placed
into the PWL or PSL, the icons will change state as a visual cue that the stamp is present in
the PWL or PSL. Also added totals to some columns in the PSL report.

13) Added GRAND Totals Report: This report will collect information for ALL
databases that you have entered into. This report will generate totals for
your ENTIRE COLLECTION. It is available from the Report Menu. To capture data for
the Grand Totals report, run your Reports by Selecting Everything in the 'What
Types to Print' option. The reports that capture data are All Qstats Reports,
PB & Cover Report, Detailed Inventory Report, Mint Sheets Report, FDC Report,
PNC Report, XRef Report & the Detailed Inventory Report.

14) Allow change of PB Calculations setting but you must re-index after changing.
You can now change the Global setting on how to calculate PB's at any time &
when you re-index, your totals for Mint & Total qty will be re-calculated.
This allows you to see how your collection value changes if the PB's are included
in the Mint Qty or not.

15) Price Update:    Added option to reset Stamp Related info back to default values in the Price Update

16) Electronic/Downloadable Database Updates:    Added new feature where annual updates
for A single country can now be purchased & downloaded ( they can still be ordered on CD as usual ).

17) Search & Replace Function is now available in the File, Utilities menu. This tool allows you
to do a global search & replace on the Comments, X-Ref & Location fields.

18) Checkboxes on the main screen are now automatically linked to the Mint or Used Details
screens for any item with a quantity of 2 or more.

19) Added some VISTA compatibility issues for image display of thumbnails and the EzStamp Desktop Icon.

20) Corrected NH% issues during a Rapid Entry. Also, for the Detailed Inventory Report,
the NH% ratios for grades other than VF are now being included in the calculations.

21) Corrected importing to AlbumGen from the EzStamp Data menu. Was not always getting the
stamp sizing information.

22) PWL & PSL indicators were not being reset when using the keyboard arrow keys. This
has been corrected.
